If you are looking to buy a new computer, the University of Michigan-Flint offers
students and faculty to 12% discount in their Personal Purchase Program. You
will go to the Dell Premier website page to make your purchase.
You will be able
to configure your computer and make upgrades with applied discounts. This is part
of the Dell Education Personal Purchase Program. All computers and accessories
purchased through this program must use Dell’s support services and you will not
be able to use Michigan-Flint ITS for help which is only for computers with

The Information Technology Central Services at the University of Michigan
accepts Dell computers for warranty and out-of-warranty hardware repair. Low
cost computer repairs are offered, including hardware repair for Dell Computers
(added the summer of 2008). Maintenance and repair on installations, upgrades,
network cards, data back-ups, operating system problems and more. Eligibility
requirements include being a Michigan student, staff or faculty member. Costs
range from as little as $15 for data back-up, software installation to $30 for
diagnostics and virus remediation, up to $60 for advanced repairs. Hardware
repair is a minimum of $30. Still way cheaper than any other normal Michigan computer repair services available to the general public.

I have a dell computer I would like clean out, not sure to ask I live in Durand mi, i can drop it off or they can come here. Need the hard drive clean.
